Marine Insurance provides protection for goods, cargo and other property while in transit by sea, air, road or rail, both within Australia and internationally. It typically covers loss or damage arising from events such as collision, overturning, theft, fire, storm, rough handling and general average, with policies tailored to importers, exporters, manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors.
Cover can be arranged for single shipments or annual declarations and may also include stock in transit, loading and unloading risks, and storage incidental to transit.
